Couples counselling and relationship therapy

Relationships can be deeply fulfilling—and incredibly challenging. Whether you're facing communication breakdowns, navigating life transitions, or feeling disconnected, couples counselling offers a safe space to explore, heal, and grow together.

Who I work with

I support people at all stages of their relationship including:

  • People who are dating, cohabiting, or married

  • Those in LGBTQ+ partnerships

  • People in diverse relationship models including open relationships

  • Long-term relationships facing new challenges

  • Those recovering from betrayal or loss of trust

Common issues explored in relationship therapy

The reasons why couples come for counselling are wide-ranging but can include a wish to explore:

  • Communication difficulties and recurring arguments

  • Emotional distance or lack of physical intimacy

  • Infidelity and rebuilding trust

  • Parenting stress and family dynamics

  • Life transitions (career changes, retirement, relocation)

  • Exploring different forms of relationship including consensual non-monogamy

When both partners are willing to reflect on their own attitudes and behaviours—and commit to improving the relationship—meaningful change can often happen surprisingly quickly.

Ready to begin?

If you're ready to take the next step together, do get in touch. You don’t need to have all the answers — just a willingness to explore them together
